One - how long does a season last? Two - can I get cosmetics like wings, banner, pet, frame, through regular gameplay, or are they only things I can get from seasons and such? I know there are some great fairy wings from a place called Whimsydale (Whimsyshire?), and I saw someone ping a red teddy bear in general that someone else said was a pet. I also used rebirth on what is currently my main character (witch doctor) because I was eager to play and that saved me all of two minutes. The essence of my question is, do I get to keep all my progress in this season in non-seasonal content after this season ends? Once I upgraded from the starter edition, I remade all my characters as seasonal characters so I can get the rewards, so my artisans are all much higher than in my non-seasonal stuff. Things never lined up for me to get Diablo 3, but I saw it on sale while I'm starved for new ARPG content.
Longtime fan of the Diablo series here (Diablo 1 and 2 were my jam back in the day), and very familiar with ARPGs as it's my favorite genre.
